Le processus de croissance à long terme de la Chine et ses retombées sur le Canada
Au cours des 25 dernières années, la Chine, qui était un pays à économie planifiée, a adopté de nombreuses réformes et est graduellement devenue une économie de marché socialiste, capable de générer une croissance économique robuste et durable. Son intégration croissante au sein de l'économie mondiale, alimentée par cette expansion récente et rapide, a déjà commencé à influer sur l'activité d'autres pays et à poser des défis pour les décideurs, en Chine et à l'étranger. En plus d'analyser les déterminants de la croissance antérieure et actuelle de la Chine, les auteurs étudient les facteurs susceptibles de favoriser l'essor soutenu du pays dans l'avenir et en évaluent les retombées sur les économies canadienne et mondiale. -

De 2011 à 2019, l’inflation au Canada et dans les économies avancées a été généralement inférieure aux cibles des autorités monétaires, relançant le débat sur la question de savoir si le processus d’inflation a changé. Cette étude met en lumière des enjeux naissants qui influenceront la conduite de la politique monétaire au Canada à court terme.
