Enquête sur les perspectives des entreprises – Premier trimestre de 2024
Les répondants de l’enquête sur les perspectives des entreprises et du Pouls des leaders d’entreprise (anciennement Le Pouls des entrepreneurs) ont dit que leur confiance et leurs attentes quant à la croissance de leurs ventes ont cessé de se détériorer. La demande reste toutefois modérée, ce qui allège les pressions sur les prix et les tensions sur le marché du travail. Résultat : par rapport à la dernière enquête, moins d’entreprises comptent procéder à des augmentations de prix plus grandes et plus fréquentes que d’habitude au cours des 12 prochains mois. -

La complexité propre à la gestion des risques financiers et les risques systémiques
Crise financière oblige, les systèmes de gestion des risques sont passés au crible et font l'objet d'appels en faveur de leur amélioration et de l'élargissement du rôle des autorités réglementaires. De tels objectifs ne cernent néanmoins pas la complexité inhérente au processus de gestion des risques. L'article fait ressortir la complexité propre à tout système contemporain de gestion des risques du fait des simplifications intrinsèques aux modèles théoriques, dont les gestionnaires de risques doivent être conscients, et des difficultés que pose l'étalonnage sensé des paramètres des modèles. L'auteur croit que la réglementation prudentielle devrait être axée sur les défaillances pouvant survenir au sein de l'institution financière ainsi que dans ses interactions avec d'autres institutions sur les marchés. Il examine certaines stratégies susceptibles d'améliorer les systèmes de gestion des risques et les pratiques en matière de réglementation microprudentielle. -
