Nous élaborons ensuite un modèle d’équilibre général dynamique et stochastique intégrant des entreprises hétérogènes pour expliquer cette tendance et en étudier l’incidence sur les cycles économiques. -

Nous analysons les conséquences non désirées du Home Affordable Refinance Program. Conçu initialement pour aider les emprunteurs à obtenir un refinancement hypothécaire après la crise financière mondiale de 2008-2009, ce programme a eu pour effet de renforcer involontairement le pouvoir de marché des prêteurs initiaux en créant pour eux un avantage de coût. Même si une politique a été adoptée en 2013 pour éliminer cet avantage de coût, nous notons des pertes de bien-être importantes pour les emprunteurs. -
