Les modèles d’équilibre servant à l’évaluation des obligations reposent sur l’hypothèse que l’inflation a pour effet de freiner la croissance future, ce qui se traduit par une courbe des rendements nominaux ascendante. Nous concevons un modèle pouvant générer des courbes ascendantes pour les rendements nominaux et réels, en tenant compte d’un certain degré d’ambiguïté à l’égard de l’inflation et de la croissance. -

Nous expliquons comment les modèles économiques de la Banque du Canada rendent compte de l’arbitrage entre la production et l’inflation au pays. Nous présentons de nouvelles estimations de cet arbitrage et les comparons à celles issues des modèles macroéconomiques de la Banque. -
Countercyclical Bank Capital Requirement and Optimized Monetary Policy Rules
Les auteurs explorent les implications macroéconomiques de différents niveaux de contracyclicité des exigences de fonds propres bancaires en se servant du modèle BOCGEM- FIN, un modèle d’équilibre général dynamique et stochastique de grande taille qui comporte des frictions réelles, nominales et financières ainsi qu’un secteur bancaire. -

Dans cette étude, l'auteur présente les résultats empiriques qu'il obtient de l'examen du comportement qu'affichent différentes variables économiques, notamment le salaire réel, après un choc technologique. -

Dans la présente étude, nous analysons les résultats des projets pilotes de décimalisation du prix des options qui ont été menés par la bourse canadienne des produits dérivés. La décimalisation améliore les mesures de la liquidité et de l’efficience des prix. Les effets de cette opération varient selon le degré de parité d’une option et sont plus marqués pour les options hors du cours.
