Lorsque ces taux sont abaissés, les répercussions extérieures ne sont pas les mêmes dans les deux cas : elles sont généralement modérées et négatives dans celui du taux d’imposition des entreprises, et assez importantes et positives dans celui du taux d’imposition des particuliers. -

Quel rôle les banques centrales jouent-elles dans le domaine de la stabilité financière? Quelles évolutions ce rôle a-t-il connues ces dernières années? Les chercheurs de la Banque nous livrent leurs réflexions à ce sujet et présentent un survol des modifications que la Banque a apportées récemment à sa politique sur l’octroi d’une aide d’urgence. Les chercheurs dressent par ailleurs l’historique des quatre supercycles généralisés des prix des produits de base depuis le début des années 1900. Le dernier article s’intéresse, pour sa part, aux réformes structurelles dans les pays émergents, notamment en Chine, et à leurs effets sur la croissance potentielle. -
