Financial Constraint and Productivity: Evidence from Canadian SMEs

Dans cette étude, nous mesurons et estimons, par l’analyse d’un ensemble de données sur les petites et moyennes entreprises canadiennes, la probabilité qu’une entreprise se retrouve sous la contrainte du financement externe. -

Nous présentons une méthode d’identification ponctuelle dans le cadre de modèles d’enchères au premier prix où sont prises en compte l’aversion au risque et une hétérogénéité non observée des enchères. La méthode d’identification proposée s’appuie sur de multiples offres tirées de chaque enchère et sur le nombre variable d’offreurs. -

Les incidences des modifications réglementaires sur les cadres de conduite de la politique monétaire
Le présent article analyse certaines mesures récentes en matière de réglementation bancaire, qui sont susceptibles d’influer sur les activités des intermédiaires financiers et sur l’efficacité des cadres de conduite de la politique monétaire des banques centrales. Si, dans la plupart des cas, il est possible d’anticiper les effets de règles considérées séparément, les répercussions de la réglementation prise globalement demeurent incertaines. Les banques centrales devraient être en mesure de composer avec les incidences du nouvel environnement réglementaire dans le contexte des cadres de politique monétaire en place. -

The Endogenous Relative Price of Investment
L’auteur utilise une méthode d’analyse basée sur un modèle structurel et des données complètes pour évaluer le lien entre les chocs technologiques spécifiques à l’investissement et l’inverse du prix relatif de l’investissement. Il propose un modèle bisectoriel intégrant une structure de concurrence monopolistique où les entreprises peuvent faire varier le taux de marge appliqué à leur produit en fonction du nombre de firmes concurrentes.
